Every algorithm in ORBIT and PULSAR was tuned against the same monitors, the same analog chain and the same records that go through the MYR mixing & mastering studio in Fulda. They are not a side project. They are the tools that were missing.
- Are the plugins really free?
- Yes. Both plugins are free to download and free to use, in private and in commercial productions. There is no licence key, no trial period and no account. If they earn their place in your sessions, there is a donation link, entirely optional.
- Which formats and systems are supported?
- VST3 on macOS 11 or newer, as a Universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel. A Windows VST3 build is in preparation. There is no Audio Units (AU) version yet, so Logic Pro and GarageBand cannot load the plugins at the moment.
- Which DAWs can I use them in?
- Any DAW that loads VST3 plugins, for example Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, Cubase, Studio One, REAPER or FL Studio.
- How do I install them on macOS?
- Unzip the archive and double-click “MYR Plugins installieren.pkg”, then pick the plugins you want. If macOS refuses to open the installer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose “Open anyway”. The archive also contains both .vst3 bundles for a manual install into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3.
- What happens to my email address?
- It is used to send you the download and occasional news about new MYR plugins. Nothing else, no third parties, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
