How to install the plugins, and find them in your DAW.

On the Mac, in two minutes.
macOS 11 or newer · Universal (Apple Silicon & Intel)
Unzip the download and double-click MYR-Installer-0.4.0.pkg in the folder.
Choose the formats. Under “Installation Type” every plugin has two checkboxes.
VST3 for Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, REAPER, Bitwig and FL Studio. AU (Audio Unit) for Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live and Digital Performer. If in doubt, keep everything selected: then every DAW works.
Click Install and confirm with your Mac password. Done.
If macOS blocks the installer
If macOS says the developer cannot be verified, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway” at the bottom. The plugins are not registered with Apple yet, and that is what triggers the warning.

If the installer does not start
The folder “Manuelle Installation” contains Installieren.command. Right-click it and choose Open. The script copies every VST3 and AU plugin to the right place and clears it for macOS.
Uninstall
Move MYR ORBIT.vst3, MYR PULSAR.vst3 and MYR PRISM.vst3 and the matching .component files from the two folders above to the Trash. In the Finder: “Go”, hold Alt, then “Library”.
On Windows, just as easy.
Windows 10 or newer · 64-bit
Unzip the download and double-click MYR-Installer-0.4.0.exe.
Choose the plugins. ORBIT, PULSAR and PRISM are selected by default.
On Windows the format is VST3. Audio Unit is an Apple format and belongs to the macOS version.
Click Install and confirm with “Yes” for administrator rights.
If SmartScreen blocks the installer
If “Windows protected your PC” appears, click “More info” and then “Run anyway”. The build is not digitally signed yet, and that is what triggers the warning.

If the installer does not start
Copy the folders MYR ORBIT.vst3, MYR PULSAR.vst3 and MYR PRISM.vst3 from “Manuelle Installation” completely to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.
Rescan once.

- Settings → Plug-Ins, turn on “VST3 System Folders” or “Audio Units”, then hold Alt (Windows: Ctrl) and click “Rescan”.
- Logic Pro
- Finds the AU versions by itself on the next start. Look under Audio FX → MYR - Audio Plugins - Ecosystem.
- GarageBand
- Plug-ins → Audio Units → MYR - Audio Plugins - Ecosystem.
- Cubase / Nuendo
- Studio → VST Plug-in Manager → “Rescan”.
- Studio One
- Options → Locations → VST Plug-ins → “Rescan”.

The same controls in every MYR plugin
Knobs
- Drag up or down to change the value.
- Hold Shift for fine adjustment.
- Double-click goes back to the default value.
- Click the number to type a value, for example 375ms, 1.5s or 14.2k.
- Hovering shows a short explanation.
The top bar
- Click the preset name for 98 factory presets, sorted by category. Browse with < and >.
- SAVE stores your own presets.
- UNDO and REDO cover every knob movement.
- A / B compares two complete settings, A > B copies one onto the other.
- SIZE changes the window size, ADVANCED opens the detail pages.
Insert or send?
Directly on the track as an insert: set MIX by ear, usually 15 to 35 %. On a return or send track: MIX at 100 % and control the amount with the send.
ORBIT in five moves.
High-Definition Space Engine · Reverb
Pick a preset, for example Orbital Vocal for vocals or Docking Bay for drums, and tweak from there.
Choose the algorithm at the top.
ROOM, CHAMBER, HALL, PLATE, SPACE, CLOUD, COSMIC, CLEAN.
Set DECAY (length), SIZE (room size) and PRE-DELAY (the gap to the dry signal) on the left. On the right: DIFFUSION, WIDTH and MIX.
Shape the character at the bottom.
BRIGHTNESS (highs in the tail), MODULATION (movement), CHARACTER (modern to vintage), TUBE (tube warmth), SHIMMER (an octave up). Low Cut and High Cut keep the reverb clean.
FREEZE holds the reverb forever, and with MODULATION it keeps moving. INFINITE holds it while new material keeps adding to it.
Under ADVANCED
- ENVELOPE
- Gate for the eighties gated reverb, or Reverse for a swelling, backwards reverb.
- DUCKING
- The reverb makes room while the vocal sings. With DUCK SOURCE set to Sidechain it reacts to the kick instead.
- PRE-DELAY SYNC / MOD SYNC
- Locks both to the song tempo.
PULSAR in five moves.
Hybrid Echo Engine · Delay
ENGINE at the top is the echo medium.
DIGITAL, TAPE, TUBE, ANALOG, LO-FI. AGE makes the medium older and more worn.
MODE below the display sets the routing.
Stereo, Ping-Pong (bouncing), Dual (two times), Multi-Head (three tape heads like a tape echo), Mono.
TIME freely, or with SYNC in song tempo (1/8, 1/8D dotted, 1/8T triplet). Or tap it in with TAP.
FEEDBACK is the number of repeats. Above 100 % the echo builds up like a hardware tape echo, and the level always stays limited. Low Cut, High Cut and RESONANCE shape every repeat.
Turn up GRAIN and drag the glowing star in the Pulsar field.
Left and right go from smooth to a grain cloud, up and down set the pitch (±12 semitones, free with Alt). Double-click resets it.

Freeze, reverse, ducking
FREEZE loops the echoes endlessly, REVERSE plays them backwards, and DUCKING keeps the vocal clear while they run.
PRISM in five moves.
Vocal Harmonizer · Prismizer
Put it on a vocal track with a single voice and pick a preset, for example Classic Prismizer, Modern Pop or Wide Vocal.
Set the voices at the bottom: VOICE 1 to 3 with ON, PITCH, DETUNE, LEVEL and PAN.
PITCH is the interval: 12 is an octave, 7 a fifth, 4 a major third, 3 a minor third. Or work right in the display: click a beam end to switch a voice, drag it to change the interval.
Choose the formant mode at the top.
NATURAL sounds like real singers, CLASSIC is the typical prismizer sound, ARTIFICIAL goes further. The FORMANT knob on the left makes the top brighter or darker.
Balance HARMONY (the amount of voices) against LEAD (your original), then WIDTH, REVERB and DELAY on the right. Use MONO SAFE when the song has to work in mono too.
QUALITY below the display runs from ECO to ULTRA.
Higher settings detect deeper voices but need more latency (34 to 57 ms), which your DAW compensates automatically. For recording while listening, use ECO.

Micro delay per voice for a double-tracking feel, tracking, harmony EQ, glue compressor, saturation, the delay note value and the reverb.

Sidechain in Ableton, ducking to the kick
In the ORBIT or PULSAR device, open the small triangle and switch on Sidechain.
Choose the kick track as the source, set to Post FX.
In the plugin set ADVANCED → DUCK SOURCE to Sidechain and turn up DUCKING.
The presets Sidechain Pump and Sidechain Echo Pump are already set up this way.
Echo into the reverb
Put PULSAR before ORBIT on the same return track, both at MIX 100 %: the echoes blur into the space. A classic vocal trick.
If something does not work
- Plugin missing
- Rescan in your DAW while holding Alt or Ctrl. For AU, restart the Mac once.
- Mac blocks it
- System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”.
- Windows blocks it
- SmartScreen → “More info” → “Run anyway”.
- Feedback
- Get in touch, ideally with the plugin, your DAW and your operating system.
