Unfold

Fulda-based DJ and producer Goeran Meyer returns to his own label MYR with Unfold, a two-track EP that explores the deep, organic and melodic side of house music. The title comes from the way Meyer works: music that unfolds over time. Two different moods, one deep, one playful, grow from the same root. Built on warm analogue synthesizers, organic grooves and carefully selected field recordings, the EP moves between two complementary moods. Together, the tracks form a small journey from deep atmosphere to the more rhythmic, playful side of organic house.

“Integrated” opens in depth: a slow-developing organic house track of warm analogue synths, evolving melodic layers and subtle recorded textures, centred on space and a hypnotic groove.

“Aligned” turns towards the floor. A funkier, more playful cut with a rolling groove, analogue synth work and organic recorded elements, lighter in character, yet keeping the warm, immersive feel of the EP.

Both tracks come as radio edit and extended mix. Unfold lands as a Beatport exclusive on 6 November 2026, followed by Spotify, Apple Music and all other stores on 20 November 2026. The record reflects the approach that runs through Meyer’s work between Afro, Organic and Deep House: melodic storytelling, organic rhythm and cinematic sound design, with as much attention on the journey as on the groove itself.
