Organic grooves and warm textures carrying the vocals of Berlin singer Johannes Tibursky — with instrumental versions and short mixes of both.
Some tracks are driven by rhythm. Others are carried by a voice. “Disconnected” finds its strength in both.
On his latest release for MYR, Goeran Meyer combines organic grooves, warm textures and subtle melodic movement with the unmistakable vocals of Johannes Tibursky, whose distinctive voice brings a unique human presence to the production. Built around carefully evolving arrangements and refined electronic songwriting, Disconnected creates a natural connection between the dancefloor and the deeper side of musical expression.
The vocal identity of the release comes from Berlin-based singer, composer and music producer Johannes Tibursky. Recognised for his distinctive voice, layered songwriting and a strong sense for atmosphere, Tibursky moves between post-punk, indie and acoustic melancholy. After a longer creative break, he returned in 2006, expanding his work beyond his own projects into music production, film, advertising and sound design. Today, he works as a songwriter and composer for various international publishing partners, including Warner Chappell, Universal Publishing and Earmotion. His band PRUSSIA has also brought his music to audiences across the UK.
Alongside the vocal version, the instrumental mixes highlight Goeran Meyer’s production approach, allowing the organic textures, rhythms and detailed arrangements to stand independently.
With Disconnected EP, MYR continues its focus on sophisticated electronic music — balancing musical craftsmanship, organic movement and timeless club aesthetics.
