Sophisticated modern house and techno — rolling progressions and an evolving bassline that reward patience on a big system.
Kaiser Waldon joins up with MYR to release a sparkling house single entitled “Acceptance” EP, including remixes from Juli Lee, Ivo Deutschmann and Goeran Meyer.
Kaiser Waldon is widely known for honing his craft as part of the iconic Australian house duo Fear of Dawn, who signed to Ministry of Sound and Onelove and achieved a string of top fifty club listings. After launching his solo career with an EP on Double-Up Records — which quickly garnered support from the likes of Claptone, Mark Knight, Purple Disco Machine and Claude Von Stroke — Kaiser went on to play at major events like Ultra Music Festival in Singapore and Red Ruby in Bali.
“Acceptance” kicks things off with a driving bassline rolling gracefully with deep riding grooves and hypnotic looping vocals, before Switzerland's Juli Lee delivers a trademark remix fusing her vibrant style through warm pads, captivating strings and rhythmic percussion.
German producer Ivo Deutschmann swiftly balances emotive melodies, undulating goodness and atmospheric ambience within his remix, until MYR founder Goeran Meyer rounds off proceedings with raw drums, powerfully enticing modulations and an intricate drum sequence. The EP dropped on MYR on 6th September 2019.
