What is the difference between a digital and an analog master?
The digital stereo master is produced entirely in the box, without analog hardware, at €35 per track. The analog stereo master runs through external outboard — SSL Fusion, Tegeler Audio Creme and TSM, Elysia XFilter and Xpressor among others — at €50 per track.
What does stem mastering include?
Stem mastering covers up to eight stems mixed down and mastered through the analog chain, at €80 per track. It sits between a stereo master and a full mixdown: more control than a finished stereo file allows, without handing over the whole session.
What is included in the full mixdown and master?
The full stereo mixdown and master is €160 per track and includes mix consulting — going through the arrangement and the balance with you rather than only treating the finished file.
Which analog outboard is used?
SSL Fusion, HDE250A, Tegeler Audio Creme and TSM, Elysia XFilter and Xpressor, Ocean Audio 500 EQ, MR Audio Comp, Antelope Orion 32 and Focal SM9 monitoring. The analog, stem and full mixdown tiers all run through this chain; the digital master does not.
Are there discounts for several tracks?
All listed prices are in EUR and apply to one track. Bulk prices for EPs, albums and label catalogues are negotiable — get in touch with the details of the release.
How do I send my mixdown?
Upload it through the mixdown form on this site, or email it with the word “Mastering” in the subject line. The studio is based in Fulda, Germany and works with artists worldwide, so everything runs remotely.
